Martha Stewart Weddings magazine is seeking an Art Director to work directly under the Design Director. We are looking for a creative individual who will bring dedication, creativity, and passion to our company.

Responsibilities

The candidate will generate and develop story ideas, direct art, photography and design editorial pages of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine. The qualified candidate should have a sophisticated design sense, strong grasp of typography, great attention to detail, and possess the ability to shape a project from conception to completion. This individual should excel at working both independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Proficiency in CS5: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; K4

- 5+ years professional graphic design experience

- 1-2 years art directing experience preferred

- Hands-on approach to idea generation

- Should possess an interest and passion in Martha Stewart Weddings content areas

- Digital or iPad experience a plus
