AT&T AdWorks is rapidly growing in expectation of becoming AT&Ts next billion dollar business by building a better approach to advertising sales that utilizes the inherent strengths of the world's largest telecommunications company.  AT&T AdWorks is the face to the market for AT&T's newest ad products across IPTV, Mobile, and Online. 
 
The Sales Director will be responsible for Online Audience Network sales and revenue activity for the east coast region including key markets of New York, Boston, Atlanta and eastern states from Florida to Maine. 
 
The individual must be both a strong strategic thinker and top notch sales leader with fine detail orientation.  Negotiation and relationship management skills are critical, as is a thorough understanding of the digital media industry, especially ad networks, data and audience based selling. 
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Managing day to day lines sellers across the East Coast in order to meet/achieve assigned regional revenue goal
  • Developing sales strategies with account executives to meet/exceed individual revenue goals
  • Driving daily sales activity to ensure AT&T AdWorks is properly represented in the marketplace
  • Developing, coaching and mentoring individual account executives
  • Creating pro-active proposals and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP's) delivers measurable results for clients. 
  • Building and maintaining a solid revenue pipeline
  • Managing reporting and all details of compliance with advertiser agreements.
  • Skills / Requirements

    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • 8+ years of professional experience in digital marketing and advertising, most recently at an audience based ad network or data sales organization.   
    • Proven experience meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals.
    • Outstanding presentation and communication skills via written and verbal delivery. 
    • Salesmanship and ability to educate and evangelize is important to success.
    • Ability to understand client marketing challenges and develop solutions that meet objectives. 
    • Strong strategic and analytic skills. Strong attention to details. 
    • Significant experience in managing cross-functional efforts and ability to succeed in cross functional team environment.
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent PC skills with an ability to develop persuasive PowerPoint presentations from the ground-up, as well as a focus on MS Excel and Word.
