  Entry level position to manage day-to-day orders and account maintenance activities.  This program is designed to support business customers. The ACSS participates in activities targeted for sales support and project management, focusing on product knowledge and process (including IP, Data, Voice and Wireless), relationship building and business management.  Participants will learn about the communications industry from inside, while discovering the value of teamwork, leadership, initiative and entrepreneurial thinking

  • The Associate Client Support Specialist position will include 12 months development (1 month Training, and 2-6 months job shadowing assigned to a Client Support Specialist mentor)
  • Participants will develop skills through Web-based and Instructor-led training. 
  • Assist sales team to assemble a holistic view of customer's business with Corporation, which may include records of proposals, contracts and network inventories across multiple platforms and product lines.
  • Provide contract interpretation to the customer, as needed.
  • Participate in Shared Expectations Sessions with customers, pre- and post-sale corporate organizations to communicate roles and responsibilities in the client/Corp relationship.
  • Assist AE's with technical assistance in responding to RFPs, and closing sales of additional services to existing customers.
  • Support Sales Center in new product and promotional initiatives.
  • Develop strong linkages and relationships with a variety of groups responsible for supporting services.
  • Responsible for collection of complete and accurate customer data (minimum data sets).


  • Skills / Requirements


    Required Skills and Experience

    • Experience providing Business Sales Support
    • Telecommunications experience
    • AT&T Legacy products and services knowledge
    • Excellent communications skills (both written and oral)
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Aptitude to learn communication products and services
    • Ability to clear a criminal background check and drug test.
    • The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:

      • Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax

    • Project Management Experience
    • Presentation and customer facing experience
    • Telecom Provisioning Experience
    • Transport maintenance experience
    • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Telecom Billing and/or Billing Support
    • Knowledge of AT&T products and services including IP, Data, Voice and Wireless
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
