Benefits Administrator to support our payroll/benefits team!
Essential Job Functions:
Medical/Dental/COBRAAdding newly eligible participants (employees and COBRA participants) tothe HR/Benefits system
Provide payroll with change information
Deleting terminated participants and updating the HR/Benefits system
New hire benefits orientation
Customer service for participants having questions or problems regarding their medical coverage/claims
Vendor/Broker contact for all of the above as well as plan testing
Review and reconcile monthly billing
Stay current on laws/regulations
401k/Short Term Disability/FMLA//Long Term Disability/Workers Comp/Life Insurance
Vendor contact
Customer service for participants having questions or problems regarding their 401k, including loan requests and hardship withdrawals
Transmit bi-weekly contribution and participant information files
Plan testing and audits
Provide payroll with change information
Review and reconcile billing
Stay current on laws/regulationsSkills / Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 + years experience in Human Resources handling employee benefits.
Experience with ADP or other payroll/HRIS system(s).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint).
Excellent communications skills .Important Notes
