Jobing Description

The Data Entry/General Clerk is responsible for providing data entry and general clerical support to Senior Health Partners' Care Management Administration Department. This position also provides office support by handling telephone reception, word processing, copying and mail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs data entry while verifying accuracy and insuring integrity of quality events and criteria for reporting purposes.

Coordinates training and related events, keeping calendars and assembling/distributing follow-up materials.

Assists in the preparation of correspondence, reports and forms while maintaining and organizing files which include confidential and proprietary information.

Handles other related office clerical duties as necessary.

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Work Experience:

1-3 years of clerical/data entry experience in a fast-paced, health-related environment.

Technical Skills:

Position requires intermediate computer and data entry skills along with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Basic database management skills are also required.

Physical Demands:

Position requires constant sitting and keying; frequent walking and standing; occasional reaching, bending and overhead lifting. Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 10 lbs and occasionally push/pull up to 10lbs. Constant use of both hands is required.

Work Environment:

Candidate constantly works in an indoor environment.

Additional Information:

Must demonstrate attention to detail along with excellent data entry, communication (interpersonal, telephone) and organization skills. Ability to prioritize projects within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment using tact and discretion is essential.

Conditions of Employment:

Employee must pass pre-employment screening which includes a background check and drug testing. Employee must present documentation to verify minimum of high school educational requirement.
