We are currently seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to work out of our Corporate Office in New Hyde Park, NY. This position will be supporting our Data Warehouse and SQL Server development needs. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting of the data warehouse; SQL development to support other application development projects, integrations, interfaces, etc.; Investigate and resolve production issues; Manage and maintain all production and non-production databases; Day-to-day support of reports which would include designing new reports as well as maintaining existing reports; Adherence to coding standards and software development methodologies in compliance with the established SDLC process flow. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate with users and management, work independently or as part of a team, develop detailed plans and explain tasks to others, and the flexibility and willingness to grow into other technical areas.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in a technical area, preferably computer science or engineering
5+ years of SQL Server development experience
3+ years of Data Warehouse experience
3+ years of reporting applications experience
Experience in Business Objects a plus
SQL Server DBA experience a plus
