KPMG s Advisory Services Practice focuses on fundamental business issues managing risk, increasing revenues, controlling costs that organizations, across various industries, should address in order to help them flourish. We help companies to identify and manage risks inherent in business processes and technology systems that support business objectives, and provide them with the information needed to help them meet their strategic and financial goals. Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Change Management Director to join us in our New York or New Jersey offices, with other major U.S. cities considered.
Responsibilities:
-Lead multiple client service delivery teams in the active execution of engagements in compliance with firm and practice unit service delivery standards
-Utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues
-Manage and provide leadership to teams of staff level professionals and become actively involved in staff development and practice management
-Build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations
-Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development
-Contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers, and training efforts
Qualifications:
-Eight years of relevant work experience related to payroll transformation and strategy experience, with five years of experience in a comparable advisory services firm providing high quality client services
-Three years experience in a Shared Services or Outsourcing environment is preferred
-BS degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university or an MBA from an accredited college/university, or other advanced professional credential
-Process design experience in the payroll process, with experience in the development of desktop procedures and payroll best practices
-Demonstrated track record of project management skills, team leadership, client relationship management, and business development, with progressive experience leading teams, mentoring staff, evaluating performance, and providing performance feedback
-Strong communication skills and ability to establish a rapport with clients and colleagues; willingness and ability to travel extensively
