Summary:
Develop and Implement retail banking strategies within a geographic trade area. Oversees sales and service; expense, operations, and credit controls; community leadership; human resource management; and meeting financial and compliance standards. Responsible for some business related activities. Responsible for developing short and long term strategic planning goals for assigned area.

Responsibilities:
- District size criteria include more than 10 branches and/or greater than $600MM in total deposits.
- Develop, implement and lead retail banking strategies within the district
- Role model Excellence and Do the Right Thing while supporting branch based change management efforts
- Deliver on sales volumes and revenue targets in the district as agreed with Regional Executive
- Manage branch real estate strategy for the district
- Execute Bank initiatives in the district
- Monitor competitor activities and programs, and identify product, marketing and other opportunities to share with Regional Executive
- Partner with Branch Business Managers and Branch Business Area Manager as applicable
- Manage branch network associates in the district, including career development, performance management and recognition
- Lead with focus on sales and service, including GROWTH and show coaching of Branch Managers and Relationship Bankers 4 days per week
- Develop district wide talent planning process
- Serve as resource for product expertise in district
- Service and sell to clients via escalations or complex sales referred by Branch Managers, and participate in sales calls with Small Business or Commercial partners as appropriate
- Serve as a community leader for the bank
- Champion a customer centric culture across district
- Ownership for service levels and operational excellence in the district
- Manage risk and compliance for branches in the district

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
- 5 years of Retail Banking and/or Sales experience
- 5 years of management and/or coaching experience
- 2 years of Multi-unit Management experience
