Description
Summary:
Under close direction, responsible for evaluating and approving or denying business banking and/or commercial loan applications according to business unit standards in a timely manner. Gathers information as necessary to make sound decisions. Responds to internal and external customer inquiries as necessary. Performs other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and business unit. Has authority to approve loans minimally beyond organization guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Underwrites routine commitments, policies and endorsements.
- Gathers information as necessary to make sound decisions.
- Responds to internal and external customer inquiries as necessary.
- Performs other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and business unit.
- Has minimal authority to approve loans beyond organization guidelines.
- Typically underwrites routine loans ranging from $500K to $20 MM.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Commercial Underwriting
