Description
Summary:
Under general direction of a senior underwriter, reviews routine to moderately complex commercial policies, commitments, and endorsements. Engages in primary customer contact along with originators on more conventional transactions. Works with both origination and analysts in the preparation of loan approval documents. May perform site inspections for loans within their portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Underwrites routine to moderately complex commitments, policies and endorsements.
- Receives files and reviews information and documentation to assure information is accurate and correct. Contacts attorney or appropriate party if necessary to request additional documentation.
- Typically underwrites routine to moderately complex loans ranging from $500K to $20 MM.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of commercial finance underwriting experience
