Job: Entry Level Research Specialist (Portuguese)

We have an exciting entry level Research Specialist position in our Data Collection department. The Research Specialist is responsible for the daily production of required Corporate Action/Reference Data tasks. Candidates are expected to have basic understanding of the North American and Latin American markets. Candidates must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills and must be fluent in Portuguese. Qualifications: Responsibilities include but are not limited to daily corporate action maintenance for equities, options, and indices, as well as contact with major stock exchanges. The key responsibilities include but are not restricted to: Understanding, navigating and updating relevant databases Understanding, identifying and processing relevant sources and markets Maintaining quality including data checks, spin offs/reports and assisting in the resolution of queries Prioritizing workload and adhering to deadlines Flexibility to adapt to a changing business environment Developing constructive working relationships within the organization Working independently as well as with a team Recognizing and escalating potential issues as appropriate Strong PC and writing skills a must. Fluency in Portuguese required, Spanish a plus. Due to the nature of business, employees will be expected to work evening hours as well as the possibility of early morning hours. Employee must be available to work US Holidays.
