Graphic Design Intern - Summer 2012

Department Description:

Our graphic designers are responsible for researching and identifying trends that relate to the A ropostale customer. They develop seasonal graphic design concepts and execute all apparel & apparel marketing graphics.

Position Responsibilities:

Participate in cross functional meetings and gain an understanding of the role of Graphic Design in the product lifecycle

Identify the steps that cross functional teams, including Design, Production, & Merchandising to develop a line.

Learn more about the day to day tasks accomplished by an Assistant Graphic Designer including development of apparel graphics, apparel marketing graphics, seasonal trend books, and presentation boards.

Provide research, maintenance, and support for assigned departmental projects and tasks as assigned.

Participate and provide feedback in group meetings and discussions if applicable.

Provide administrative assistance, such as filing, record keeping, etc.

Position Requirements:

Enrolled in degree program with relevant coursework in graphic design

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & Microsoft Office

Detail orientated individual with strong organizational, communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
