MZI Year Round Internship ProgramsMZI Internships can be part time (16-20 hours per week) or full time (30-40) hours per week, usually during summertime. More important than the number of hours you work every week is the duration of the internship. There are typically five different lengths for internships.Key Responsibilities:Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts for promotional material which includes brochures, fliers, and other collateral Development of graphic elements of websites, such as animations, logos, and banners Development of MZI client s branding attributes such as package, tradeshow booth or promotional posters design Downloading photographic and corporate logos Maintaining design archives Managing and updating web site content on existing clients web sites Photo retouching Prepare web-ready proofs and other files for e-mail and web site Producing mock-ups for presentations Putting together proposals Support team with the design and production of new web sites Requirements:Proficiency in the following applications: Adobe Suite, Dreamweaver, and Quark Xpress Knowledge of and experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, but not required Experience with Flash is a plus, but not required Ability to work independently and in a team environment Corporate design and print design experience necessary Excellent time and project management skills Must be familiar with preparing files for prepress output Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Strong initiative along with creativity and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Interested candidates please send portfolio samples in PDF format along with your resume and a letter of interest to careers@mziglobal.com, with Graphic Design Intern in the subject line Back to Main Search Email Job to Friend Apply for Job
