Description
Summary:
Work as part of a team of Derivative Products specialists responsible for structuring and executing a broad range of Interest Rate Risk Management strategies for Capital One's Commercial and Small Business corporate clients.

Responsibilities:
- TWork with bankers and customers to analyze customer hedging needs and the development of strategies to meet those needs.
- Maintains direct contact with a personal portfolio of customers. Structures and implements risk management strategies for these customers.
- Regularly participates in calls with Bankers to analyze client funding and risk management needs.
- Develops and implements a proper mix of Corporate Finance products to make use of Capital One's capabilities and meet the needs of its corporate customers.
- Jointly monitors policies, procedures and systems to ensure that applicable regulations are met and internal controls are in place.
- Identify client need for other Capital One SouthCoast Capital debt and equity funding products and cross sell accordingly.
- Assists in the development and implementation of Risk Management Training programs for Capital One National Bank's relationship officers and other persons critical to the Division's mission.
- Establishes strategic partnerships with other financial institutions in order to provide the full range of products and services required by Capital One customers.
- Meets frequently with Senior Management of the various Capital One subsidiaries and divisions to foster synergies with Market Risk Management.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends and issues by reviewing industry periodicals and information, attending industry seminars, and meeting with industry leaders.
- Exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 4 year college degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years + broad-based experience in Derivative products.
