Jobing Description

Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update functional requirements, specifications, test scripts and user procedures
* Responsible for Brand Headquarters payroll
* Responsible for the set-up and correspondence of all Garnishments, Child Support and Tax Levy payments
* Create and transmit all necessary file transfers (FTP s)
* Payroll subject matter expert to analyze and respond to user inquiries and issues
* Responsible for Stock Option Plan Coordinate with Merrill Lynch and Human Resources
* Prepare monthly G/L reconciliation schedules (Blackbooks)
* Prepare any necessary journal entries into general ledger system
* Act as liaison with Information Technology and Human Resources on project definition and business requirements for enhancements
* Review and analyze test results for system upgrades and prepare change management for Director sign-off
* Identify policies and procedures which require changes and update documentation
* Administer Cybershift creating upload file, lock records, validate results, run payroll process and validate file creation
* Administer Lawson Payroll system including Job preparation and check creation
* Resolution of bank reconciliation issues and transmission to bank
* Work with Manager to coordinate year-end processing and W-2 creation
* Identify, resolve and/or escalate issues that may arise
* Develop and maintain necessary reports
* Ensure that all internal controls and procedures are followed
* Special projects
* Responsible for extremely confidential and sensitive information

Qualifications:

* Knowledge of advanced reporting tools (i.e. Crystal Reports, Microstrategy or Hyperion)
* Lawson Payroll experience a PLUS
* Flexible work schedule a must
* Strong analytical skills and ability to independently problem solve
* Excellent organizational skills
* Strong interpersonal skills including: partnering, conflict management, mentoring and team building
* Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
* Must be comfortable working in team environment or independently, possessing a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments
* Ability to lead and effectively facilitate meetings
* Previous operations experience in specialty retail environment a plus
* Knowledge of Payroll, Human Resources, Time and Attendance applications within retail environment

EDUCATION:
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience in retail business system administration, Computer Science or related field.
