Relationship-driven Commercial Banking Meets Capital One Information Based Strategy

The Commercial Banking business is the little known behemoth of the Capital One portfolio. With the second largest loan portfolio, second largest deposit portfolio and second highest NIAT, Commercial Banking is a vital element to Capital One's strategy. Despite the size and success of the existing business, the efforts to analyze and optimize the opportunities in this line of business have only just begun.

As a Sales Performance Manager Treasury Management on the Commercial Sales Analysis and Performance Management team your responsibilities will include:

- Support the head of Treasury Management sales to build a world class sales organization that partners with Commercial and Small Business bankers to deliver complex cash flow solutions to our clients
- Help to establish a consistent sales culture by creating robust sales processes with standardized routines, planning exercises, interaction models, and inspections
- Conduct, develop and maintain performance management content on various TM products and services
- Analyze the staffing structure and alignment to create a consistent design that supports efficient resource allocation and associate teaming
- Work with sales managers and Compensation teams to design incentive structures and create individual sales goals that drive desired outcomes
- Create internal certification program to monitor associate knowledge and participation in performance management sessions
- Work with Marketing and Training teams to develop, maintain and deliver marketing material, sales presentations, and educational programs
- Assist in the development of industry specific strategies to increase product adoption or gain new business
- Coordinate with product and service teams throughout the Commercial organization to align strategies and act as the voice of sales associates
- Assist and participate in sales calls as needed with either internal or external customers

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

- At least a 4 year degree from an accredited college
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Financial industry
- 3+ years cash management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years experience as a trainer, sales coach or performance manager
- Must be able to establish and maintain high level of credibility with all levels of internal and external customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated results in developing and implementing sales management tools and process, preferably within a matrix organization
- Ability to manage up, across, and down in a large organization and win support for change recommendations
- Ability to independently support and lead new business initiatives from ideation through implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
