Description
Responsibilities:
- Receives and verifies incoming shipments from armored carriers.
- Transfers outgoing shipments to armored carriers and insures accuracy of manifest documents.
- Assists with outgoing currency and coin order preparation.
- Assists with all aspects of coin handling including verification of incoming coin shipments, coin boxing and inventory control.
- Responsible for 100% accuracy when accepting incoming shipments and releasing outgoing shipments with armored carriers. Completes paperwork and obtains signatures required of carriers accepting incoming/outgoing work.
- Responsible for 100% accuracy when packing outgoing shipments for release to armored carriers and when verifying incoming shipments from branches and clients.
- Adheres to all applicable loss control/security policies and regulations. If situations arise that indicate possible breaches to loss control/security procedures, takes actions to remedy or obtains management assistance.
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures applicable to warehouse environment.
- Must successfully pass fork lift operation training and obtain safety certificate.
- Accurately processes deposits consisting currency and coin. Checks deposits are recorded, filmed and sent to item processing.
- Verifies all currency included in deposits accurately within 48 hours of receipt and notifying customers of any differences discovered in accordance with established specifications.
- Ensures that all currency is strapped and sorted by denominations and that straps prepared are properly identifiable when processing deposits utilizing the non tray processing.
- Package, seal, identify and indicate amounts of currency in each fed tray prepared utilizing tray processing. Prepares Compass teller report to indicate amount in each tray by denomination.
- Initiate individual Compass transaction for all deposit credits to correct customer and/or location. Prepares Compass adjustment corrections for customers account deposit discrepancies and also completes a customer difference sheet for selected accounts.
- Prepares Secret Service counterfeit note reports for all counterfeits detected while processing customer deposits.
- Sorts by denomination, counts, straps, and verifies processors fed tray currency to predetermined amount via high speed currency counting equipment. Differences identified are logged to each processor. Fed tray verification may vary from 25 -40 trays daily. Responsible for balancing totals of all tray process to total currency.
- Turns over and secures daily currency processed which will be placed in the main vault.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent Certification

Ability to follow instructions with 100% accuracy.
Willingness to learn a variety of department activities and functions.
Flexible work hours and days.
Ability and willingness to operate department process equipment
