Development Associate 35hrs flex Brookville location
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s preferred
- A minimum of one to three years of nonprofit administrative development, or for-profit administrative experience, that includes training and active use of a customer relational management system (CRM) and/or Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge preferred
- Should have strong written and oral communication skills and be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task are also required
- Non-profit event experience/working social media knowledge is a plus.
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
The Development Associate reports to the Foundation Director. He/she is responsible for support as it relates to contributed income across all sectors and affiliates, including working within the department’s relational database (Raiser Edge.) The Development Associate is the point person for participants, family members, vendors and Trustees for AHRC Foundation’s supplemental needs trusts (SNTs), with duties including tracking/reporting of supplemental needs trusts’ disbursements/income and tax return support. The Development Associate prepares required reports for board members, committee volunteers, and funders. The Development Associate participates in the grant application process, manages the grant proposal calendar, tracks proposals, applications, and reports for funders.
