    The Internal Communication Specialist will be responsible for supporting the VP, Marketing and Corporate Communication, on all internal communication initiatives, including content creation and strategy execution through all primary communication delivery forms, including print, digital and video. The Internal Communication Specialist will also assist with oversight of Arbor’s intranet, including the development of corporate culture and departmental content and the dissemination of all related corporate communication to company employees.


    The Internal Communication Specialist will have the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

    • Writing all corporate communication content, including news on company initiatives and events, employee profiles and other corporate culture-enhancing stories distributed on the company intranet and internal digital Captivate screens
    • Managing company-wide communication and corporate culture-related initiatives and projects, which will involve interfacing with multiple diverse departments throughout the company, including satellite offices
    • Managing the company’s intranet, content and publishing schedule
    • Managing, updating and enhancing all company presentations and Communication/Editorial calendar
    • Coordinating and creating the company’s transactional press releases and corresponding social media graphics
    • Editing and proofreading all internal and external communication


    Education: Bachelor’s degree required with a concentration in Journalism, Creative Writing or English

    Experience: 3-5 years of experience writing, editing and delivering content


    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to reinterpret and communicate information from business databases, term sheets, senior management and subject matter experts in easy-to-understand language and formats
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
    • Strong time management skills and ability to effectively multitask and prioritize
    • Solid presentation skills
    • Intranet experience a plus
    • Portfolio of work that demonstrates both technical and storytelling skills

    Travel: Up to 5%
