The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Collision Center Painter is responsible for all work assigned by the Collision Center Operations Supervisor. The Painter will be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles within or ahead of their scheduled completion time and for the maintenance and care of shop equipment and efficient use of shop supplies and refinishing material.
To provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through consistently outstanding preparation, attitude, and teamwork.
Paint cars or damaged areas on vehicles assigned to him by Collision Center Production Supervisor.
To exercise care in the use of materials such as cleaning fluids, thinners, paint, sandpaper, and tape.
To perform work with a high level of efficiency and quality, including mixing paints for proper matching and proper application of same.
Responsible for finishing assigned tasks on-time or ahead of schedule.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements & Conditions
2 years' experience painting luxury vehicles
High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience
General knowledge of processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques in order to achieve maximum efficiency.
