Job Description

ONE Jeanswear Group, Inc. has a great opportunity for an Assistant Technical Designer. This role will support the Technical Designers in processing and fitting samples in the pre-production stages, and helping maintain the flow of information between factories and internal departments. The position must be able to perform basic technical design related tasks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsible for reserving and coordinating model fit times based on the number of samples on hand, and setting up cross functional fittings

Actively participate in garment fittings
Tracking and helping prioritize seasonal sample flow
Responsible for maintaining and updating style files including specs, grading, and construction standards through PLM
Support technical design team with pattern corrections, PLM updates, and vendor communication
Maintain sample closet
Interact daily with Design and Production teams

College Degree in Patternmaking or/and Technical Design

At least one year related experience/ Internship experience preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills required
Computer proficiency with; Excel, Illustrator and PLM
Sewing skills; ability to work basic sewing/pressing equipment
