    The Workout Associate is responsible for managing a portfolio of distressed credits. This position will work closely with the Credit Department and internal business lines and external parties such as agents, borrowers and co-lenders.


    Position Responsibilities/Duties
    - Management of five to ten distressed credits across various industries, including customer contact, preparation of applications, reviews, credit alarms and KYC (60%)
    - Monitor five to ten credits on the warning list (20%)
    - Preparation of U.S. Reserve Reports (10%)
    - Preparation of self-assessments (10%)
    - Some travel may be required.

    Essential functions:
    - The position requires a strong knowledge of credit analysis, with a focus on cash flow, familiarity with legal documentation, particularly as regards security, and the ability to do basic financial modelling, e.g. projections, etc.
    - The individual should have the ability to interface with agents, borrowers and co-lenders as well as the Credit Department.


    Work experience required:
    · 2-3 years of experience working as a credit or portfolio analyst in a corporate bank.
    · Prior experience in credit analysis preferred
    · Prior experience in lending institution preferred

    · Strong Excel skills and experience working with financials models. (15%)
