Our client is a real estate investment company looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in handling only one rental portfolio of approx. 100 apts in the Gramercy Park area
  • Administrative functions and providing outstanding service to prospect residents, current residents and third party agencies.
  • Facilitates all aspects of the apartment leasing process, qualifying prospective residents and signing leases
  • Follows up with prospects and leads to increase occupancy
  • Buildings portfolio all within walking distance
  • Written and Oral Communication with tenants, brokers, supers, vendors, etc
  • Coordinate tenant move in and move outs
  • Provide full administrative support which includes responding to daily calls and emails
  • Address concerns of residents and prospective residents in a friendly professional manner
  • Write, prepare and distribute memos, notices and other correspondence to supervisor, colleagues and residents
  • Maintain current knowledge of each assigned property
  • Receive, process and oversee all apartment alteration/decorating requests
  • Communicate with superintendent and manage service request including scheduling and ensuring completion
  • Answer phone calls, messages and emails promptly; within a few hours but never to exceed 24 hours
  • Assist manager with deadlines as well as day to day operations of running a portfolio of boutique buildings within walking distance in the Gramercy Park area
  • Assist in processing new hires for building staff by completing Requisition Forms
  • Assist Property Manager in ensuring compliance with NYC governmental regulations
  • Advertising upcoming apartment vacancies, arranging showings and taking applications through our online leasing platform
  • Ad hoc duties

Skills:
  • 2-4 years of New York City Real Estate experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Excellent customer service
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word /Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)

 

Preferred by not required: 

  • 2-4 years of NYC leasing experience
  • Real Estate Salesperson License
  • Proficiency in Greek or Spanish
