* Bachelor's Degree
* Five (5) years of experience in residency program systems, including GME Track, FREIDA, CREOG, ADS and ERAS
* Knowledge of Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications -- Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Job Description

* Prepares monthly Resident schedules -- On call, vacation, and block schedule. Ensures appropriate distribution.
* Updates and maintains resident portfolios on a quarterly basis for the Preceptor's meeting.
* Assures evaluations are completed by the faculty staff and residents via the e-value systems and prints same on a quarterly and monthly basis. Serves as liaison with e-value for the creation of evaluations or other administrative issues.
* Monitors resident duty hours on e-value.
* Submits prescription pads request to the Department of Pharmacy. Maintains inventory of departmental prescription pads. Responsible for the prescription pads distribution.
* Prepares monthly Educational Resident Lecture schedule and monitors attendance. Reserve conference rooms when necessary for meetings, lectures, and departmental annual retreat.
* Maintains and schedules Residents for all required certification and accreditations -- BCLS/ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation and Conscious sedation in-service.
* Prepares correspondences/memos as directed by Program Director and / or Department Chair.
* Takes minutes for the Competency Committee, Department annual retreat, Annual Program Meeting and Curriculum meeting.
* Updates Policy and Procedures Residency Manual. Activates and updates online residency program systems -- GME Track, FREIDA, CREOG, ADS.
* Maintains active communication with GME and House Staff Office for continued compliance and attending GME and Residency Program Coordinator meetings. Participate in duty hour subcommittee meetings.
* Downloads and reviews all residency applications from ERAS. Sorts prospective application files for review by Faculty. Sets-up interviews / catering. Organizes and schedule rank meetings. Submits ranking list to activate National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
* Schedules and organizes incoming residency orientation.
* Organizes, prepares and coordinates the Residency Review site visit.
* Completes and submits cash disbursements and travel reimbursement forms for residents and/or Program Director.
* Completes and submits Forms for residency verification from accrediting agencies or other institutions.
* Monitors the medical library as scheduled. Duties include but not limited to, shelving books, addressing any technical issues with computers/copy machines, keeping all areas tidy and addressing interlibrary journal requests.
* Participates in organizing the resident/fellow Hospital wide graduation.
* Schedules and organizes Residents' outside rotation.

Special Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred but will accept experience to compensate for educational requirements.
