    WE Codeword is seeking a paid media pro/media buying superstar to join our growing team. If you are highly in tune with the digital world and able to leverage data and insights to plan, execute, and report on successful paid digital media programs and campaigns, we want to talk to you!

    In this role, we need someone who is equally comfortable tackling trafficking and optimization as they are with developing and pitching full paid strategies that layer into overall strategic work. You’ll be trusted to pitch your ideas to clients and brief creative teams on your concepts.

    The ideal candidate has a background in media buying, campaign management, and strategy, preferably in the digital media space. We are looking for someone who is fluent in social and advertising platforms - especially LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram - with SEO/SEM experience. You should be ready to collaborate with strategy, analytics, and creative teams to outline overall delivery strategy and use critical thinking to develop media plans that ensure appropriate audiences are reached effectively.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing and executing all aspects of Codeword’s media buys across multiple social networks and ad buying platforms
    • Strategic planning, trafficking, optimization, reporting and analysis of paid media campaigns
    • Setting and managing budgets
    • Ensuring campaigns hit target audience demographics and are optimized for cost and performance
    • Establishing and managing relationships with media vendors to test new-to-market offerings – customized by region, maximize the performance of existing buys, and stay current with new products/features
    • Developing creative strategies to further enhance conversion and drive revenue on new and mature paid media campaigns
    • Pitching customized paid strategies to clients
    • Briefing internal creative teams on the editorial and design assets needed for paid campaigns
    • Conduct measurable A/B tests on ad copy/landing pages in an effort to align with defined goals

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years digital media planning/buying experience across social, search and display platforms (deep familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram is a must).
    • Experience developing media plans/strategies and a solid understanding of all campaign key performance indicators
    • Experience with paid social and digital display
    • A strong mix of analytical skills and strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to drive business results
    • Adwords & SEO/SEM experience a great plus
    • Proven record of providing insights, reporting, and analysis to optimize campaigns
    • Experience running big budget campaigns a plus
    • Well established media publisher or vendor relationships a plus
